Job Full Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet patients and visitors warmly, ensuring a welcoming environment.
  • Manage a high volume of phone calls, emails, and in-person inquiries efficiently.
  • Schedule and confirm patient appointments, follow-ups, and referrals.
  • Verify patient insurance information and collect co-pays as required.
  • Maintain accurate and organized patient records in the electronic medical record (EMR) system.
  • Assist in handling patient concerns and escalating issues to the appropriate personnel.
  • Process incoming and outgoing correspondence, including faxes and emails.
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA and other healthcare regulations.
  • Perform general administrative duties, including data entry, filing, and office supply management

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum [1-2] years of experience in a high-volume medical office or similar setting.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; additional training in healthcare administration is a plus.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in EMR systems (e.g., [list specific systems if applicable]) and Microsoft Office Suite.
