Job Title: Pro Shop Administrator
Job Summary:
The Pro Shop Administrator is responsible for overseeing daily operations of the pro shop, ensuring excellent customer service, managing inventory, and supporting golf course operations. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a passion for delivering a top-tier customer experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Service & Sales:
- Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Process sales transactions, memberships, and tee-time bookings.
- Provide product recommendations and golf-related advice.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and special requests.
Inventory & Merchandising:
- Maintain accurate inventory records and restock merchandise as needed.
- Organize and display products to enhance sales.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and coordinate with suppliers.
Administrative & Operational Support:
- Manage reservations, tournament registrations, and league sign-ups.
- Maintain records of sales, memberships, and daily transactions.
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of the pro shop.
- Assist with reporting, invoicing, and other administrative tasks.
Coordination & Communication:
- Collaborate with golf course staff, instructors, and management to ensure smooth operations.
- Assist in marketing and promotions for pro shop events and special offers.
- Communicate effectively with vendors and suppliers.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Previous experience in retail, customer service, or golf-related environments preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficiency in POS systems, Microsoft Office, and scheduling software.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of golf equipment, apparel, and industry trends is a plus.
Work Environment & Schedule:
- Must be available for weekends, holidays, and peak golf season hours.
- Must be able to work 6am-2pm; OR 1:00pm-DARK
- Role may require standing for extended periods and some light lifting.
