Job Summary:
As a Customer Service Representative, you will be the first point of contact for clients, handling inquiries, processing policy updates, and assisting with claims. You’ll play a key role in ensuring customer satisfaction while supporting the agency’s sales and service goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide friendly and professional assistance to clients via phone, email, and in-person.
- Answer inquiries regarding policy coverage, billing, claims, and other insurance-related matters.
- Process policy changes, endorsements, and renewals.
- Assist in resolving customer concerns and escalate complex issues when necessary.
- Support the sales team by generating leads and cross-selling additional insurance products.
- Maintain accurate customer records and update account information in the system.
- Follow up on customer requests to ensure timely and satisfactory resolutions.
- Stay updated on insurance products, industry regulations, and agency policies.
Qualifications & Skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree is a plus).
- Previous experience in customer service, insurance, or a related field preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and handle a fast-paced work environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and insurance agency management systems (preferred).
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
