Industrial Maintenance Tech March 11, 2025

Located in Moss Point, MS

Pay: $18-$22

Perform routine and preventive maintenance on all industrial equipment in the galvanizing plant, including furnaces, kettles, conveyors, pumps, and hydraulic systems.
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems to ensure minimum downtime.
Perform inspections of equipment and machinery to identify wear, damage, or potential issues before they cause system failures.
Maintain detailed records of repairs, maintenance schedules, and equipment history.
Ensure compliance with safety standards and industry regulations at all times, ensuring a safe working environment for all team members.
Work with the production team to support plant operations and resolve any equipment-related issues that may impact production schedules.
Install, test, and calibrate new equipment and systems as needed.
Respond to emergency repair requests and provide timely, effective solutions.
Assist in the installation and setup of new machinery and equipment in the plant.

Minimum of [X] years of experience in industrial maintenance, preferably in a manufacturing or galvanizing environment.
Strong mechanical, electrical, and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to repair and maintain industrial machinery.
Knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
Experience working with high-temperature systems, furnaces, and galvanizing equipment is preferred.
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Strong attention to detail and safety-conscious approach to all tasks.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Formal training or certification in industrial maintenance, electrical, or mechanical systems.
Previous experience in a galvanizing plant or metal processing industry.
Experience with PLCs, motor controls, and other automated systems.
OSHA certification or safety training.
