Position: Safety Manager Pay: $22+ Shift Mon-Friday 5am-until
Express Employment Professionals in Starkville, Mississippi is hiring candidates for a job at a client local owned and operated in Columbus.
What we are looking for the opening and job duties below:
- MUST have VALID DL
- MUST pass an MVR check
- MUST pass a physical
Experience Required
- Lead guy for 3-4 guys
- Talk to MDOT Engineers. Coordinating, managing, safety side.
- Superintendent/Foreman
- Company Truck Operator
- 3 + years Construction supervisor
Essential Job Functions
- Install and erect traffic signs.
- Deliver and set up traffic safety equipment.
- Perform road marking inspection and installation.• Place road closure barricade; install and maintain barricades.
- Maintain and operate specialized equipment and tools such as: hoist equipment, skid steer, warehouse forklift.
Abilities
- Complete installation of traffic signs and post using a hydraulic post driver weighing up to 100 lbs.
- Complete work orders, time and equipment logs.
- Understand and follow oral and written instructions.
- Hauling and backing of 16-foot utility trailer.
- Works in extreme weather conditions with exposure to dust, fumes, gases, chemicals, solvents, uneven surfaces, heights (up to 10 feet). All work is performed outside.

- Riding all over the state
