Express Employment Professionals
Scott and Anna Dodd are the current franchise owners of the Starkville, MS location. Stuart and Mike Vance started the franchise when called Express Personnel in 1999 and then sold the business in 2008. During this time period, HQ implemented a name change which is Express Employment Professionals.
After college, Scott worked for an Express franchisee in Jackson for 6 plus years where he started in sales and worked up to general manager. Scott also worked for a national staffing firm, Volt, as area manager over the Carolinas and Tennessee.
He learned of the opportunity to purchase the Starkville office, and was able to move back home to be closer to his family. Scott is married to Anna Dodd and has two children, Gabe and Alexia.
Scott is a Veteran of the United States Army- 82nd Airborne Division and served in Saudi Arabia & Iraq in Desert Storm.
Anna Dodd is a Starkville, MS & graduated with a BS Degree at Ole Miss in 1997. After moving out West for many years, she returned home to Starkville and has been actively involved in her community. Anna has worked actively in the role of Outside Sales and manages the day-to-day of the franchise and its employees.
Anna has recently been focusing on the Professional Search Division of Express placing Executives and Management at clients in the area. She enjoys making a difference in people's lives by helping them find rewarding careers as well as internal staff development.
