Job Title: Delivery Crew/General Labor - Hot Tub and Swim Spa Delivery
Location: St. Louis, MO
Shift: Full-Time, 1st Shift (6:30 AM - 3:00/4:00pm) – Hours may vary due to business needs
Pay Rate: $17/hour
Job Summary
Express Employment Professionals is seeking a dependable and physically capable individual to join our delivery team. As part of the Delivery Crew, you will assist in the transportation, setup, and installation of hot tubs and swim spas for customers in the St. Louis area. This role involves repetitive heavy lifting and requires teamwork, attention to detail, and excellent customer service skills.
Responsibilities
- Delivery and Setup: Safely load, transport, and unload hot tubs and swim spas using dollies, sleds, or other tools. Assist in the proper installation of products at customer locations.
- Customer Interaction: Provide friendly and professional service during deliveries. Address basic customer inquiries about the product during setup.
- General Labor Tasks: Maintain cleanliness of delivery vehicles and equipment. Assist with warehouse duties such as inventory management or product preparation when needed.
- Safety Compliance: Follow all safety protocols during lifting, transporting, and installation processes to ensure the safety of yourself and your team.
Qualifications/Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift heavy items (75 - 100 lbs) safely using assistance tools.
- Must be manually dexterous.
- Must be capable of working prolonged periods standing, sitting, squatting, and bending.
- Must always follow safety policies.
- Must maintain daily cleanliness of department.
- Strong teamwork skills and ability to follow instructions from supervisors.
- Basic mechanical aptitude is a plus but not required.
- Must have or be able to obtain a valid drivers’ license.
- Clean and safe driving record is a must.
- Reliable transportation to work location.
- Must be able to work in all environments.
