Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong carpentry skills and multi-family and student housing renovations, commercial remodels, generalized repairs, carpentry, plumbing, and electrical.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

Exterior and interior painting, cutting in and roller applications, and some paint sprayer usage
Prep construction sites by clearing obstacles and hazards
Assembling and disassembling temporary structures
Cleaning and removing debris and waste materials from or near the construction site
Loading and unloading materials and supplies
Reading and following construction plan and blueprints
Assist equipment operators, carpenters, and other skilled craftspeople when necessary
Heavy lifting up to 50 lbs.
Able to work independently and manage time appropriately as projects demand
Able to complete punch list

REQUIRED SKILLS & ABILITIES:

Able to read drawings, plans and blueprints
Possesses strong analytical skills
Able to multitask
Basic understanding of construction procedures, OSHA guidelines and construction equipment, including safe operating practices and signs of maintenance issues
Takes initiative and prioritize tasks: organizational, problem-prevention and problem-solving skills
Dependable and able to work independently with little supervision as well as with a team of individuals
Able to use hand and power tools
Basic mechanical skills
Thrives in extremely fast-paced environment
Ready to learn from on-the-job training when necessary
Must have reliable transportation and the ability to travel
Must have the ability to work extended hours as required by the workload
Must have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

High school diploma or equivalent

PHYSICAL DEMANDS & WORK ENVIORNMENT:

Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions and in all types of terrain
Able to meet all physical requirements
Able to work around loud noises and can tolerate being exposed to odors, gases, dust.
