Job Full Description
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Lead Logistics Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for executing customer vehicle relocation services orders and supporting the management of day-to-day office operations. You will collaborate closely with the Field Office Manager to ensure the smooth execution of vehicle relocations, while also overseeing and leading key operational tasks. Your responsibilities will include managing and executing customer orders, scheduling pick-ups and deliveries, and maintaining accurate data within our CRM system.
As a Lead, you will be expected to independently manage your responsibilities with minimal oversight and have full proficiency in a broad range of activities related to the position. This role requires leadership, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple moving parts within the vehicle relocation process.
Responsibilities:
• Lead and coordinate customer vehicle relocation service orders, ensuring accurate and timely completion of each task
• Align with the Field Office Manager to ensure operational efficiency and alignment with business goals
• Schedule and manage vehicle pickup and delivery appointments while maintaining communication with drivers, customers, and management
• Oversee and direct Independent Contractor (IC) drivers, ensuring they meet service standards and timelines
• Act as the point of contact for customers, IC drivers, and internal PARS teams (management and customer service), facilitating clear and efficient communication
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date data in CRM systems for each order, ensuring all records are complete and accurate
• Independently manage and execute day-to-day tasks related to vehicle relocation services with limited supervision
• Review and verify invoices for accuracy, address discrepancies, and ensure timely billing
• Provide troubleshooting and problem-solving support to the team and customers
• Send and receive correspondence related to vehicle relocations, ensuring follow-up and resolution of inquiries
• Ensure that the office operates smoothly, collaborating with the team to support the execution of relocation orders and other office needs
Qualifications:
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
• Must be willing to submit to drug and background screening
• 3-5 years of logistics experience, with a focus on inventory movement
• Strong proficiency in MS Office Suite and CRM systems
• Excellent communication and customer service skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to process data accurately and maintain attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
• Strong time management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines
• Leadership skills with the ability to guide, support, and mentor other team members
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and exhibit initiative
