Job Description:
We are looking for a dedicated Metal Forming Machine Operator to help transform flat sheets of metal into bumpers. If you have attention to detail and basic knowledge of metalworking, this position could be a perfect fit for you!
Basic Skills Required:
- Basic math skills
- Ability to use tape measure and calipers
- Ability to convert metric to standard measurements
- Basic blueprint reading skills
Job Duties:
- Measure, examine, and test completed units for defects
- Set up, adjust, and operate advanced machine tools
- Align and secure fixtures, cutting tools, and materials
- Monitor machine operations and adjust as necessary
- Read blueprints and engineering specs to plan fabrication
- Mark metal stock for cutting and monitor the machining process
- Diagnose malfunctions and make adjustments or repairs
- Perform maintenance tasks like cleaning and lubricating machines
