Job Title: TIG Welder
Hourly Rate: *$800/week
Hours: M-F 7am-330pm
Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced TIG Welder to join our team. As a TIG Welder, you will be responsible for performing horizontal and vertical welding operations on a broad range of metals and alloys to produce a wide variety of products with high strength and pressure requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Primary focus on TIG(90%)/MIG(10%) welding and finishing
- Perform a variety of tasks requiring a thorough knowledge of welding techniques, tools, machines, and equipment under general supervision
- Work from engineering drawings, blueprints, rough sketches, and MI''s
- Inspect completed work for conformance to specifications
- Perform all work with adherence to safety procedures
- Complete all required documentation in a timely manner
- Assist in other areas or tasks to meet production needs
Requirements:
- 1-3 years of technical training in welding or equivalent experience
- At least one year of experience working in a welding position
- Ability to read and interpret instructions
- Ability to understand measurements
- Working knowledge of blueprints
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written or oral form.
Equipment to be Used:
- TIG welder (90%)
- MIG welder (10%)
- Plasma arc welder
- Brazing torch and spot welder
- Variety of tools and measurement gauges
