Job Full Description
Local Manufacture looking for multiple individuals with warehouse experience. Must be able to work 2nd shift with minimum of 2 years warehouse experience. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in warehouse operations and have experience with order fulfillment, shipping and receiving, and heavy equipment operation.
Responsibilities:
Material handlers work together, filling and preparing material orders for shipment to our customers, which includes operation of overhead cranes, forklifts, metal saws, shears, and lasers
Extensive training will prepare you to contribute to there customer service mission in the most safe and efficient manner.
Skills:
- Proficiency in using warehouse management systems
- Experience with materials handling and warehouse operations
- Ability to operate a variety of heavy equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks
- Strong understanding of warehouse organization and layout
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks
- Experience with order fulfillment and shipping and receiving processes
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic warehouse environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively with colleagues
- Experience in a distribution center or similar setting is highly desirable.
