Summary
Prepares and serves meals for the dietary department in a safe and appetizing method in compliance with dietary standards, policy and procedures.
- Assists or prepares food items and serves food to residents within the scheduled time frame.
- Assures that meals are prepped and prepared on time.
- Assists with dishes, serving meals and other assigned tasks as a team.
- Assists with food preparation for special events or activities as assigned.
- Cleans and maintains food service areas, including the kitchen and dining room.
Assists dietary supervisor in maintaining inventory control
Working Conditions
- Ability to lift 40-50 pounds regularly during work hours.
- Heated & air conditioned, well-lit community with minimal barriers.
