Building Mainenance Tech
Full Time- 8 am -4 pm M_F ( on call)
$18.00-$22.00 / Hr.
The Maintenance Team Member is expected to perform other position-related duties that include, but are not limited to:
Facilities
- Read through Work Book/Maintenance Request Log and organize, schedule and complete task as required.
- Storage areas must be organized and clean to provide optimal cost control and ease of service.
- Furniture will be maintained to ensure safety and appearance meets the high standards
- Oversee tradesmen during installations, repairs or maintenance. (Electricians, plumbers, painters, landscape/lawn, snow removal etc.…)
- Inspects facilities and any other structure to determine functional systems and detect malfunctions and needed repair making notes and recommendations.
Grounds
- Maintain all landscaping free of debris and trash.
- Trees and shrubs must be healthy and pruned.
- Parking lots will be marked appropriately and kept clean.
- Seasonal items will be stored and placed in appropriate areas depending on the season.
Equipment
- Operate equipment safely at all times.
- Check all equipment prior to operation to ensure all fluids, belts, electrical and safety devices are operational.
- Obey all State and Federal traffic laws while operating equipment on road ways.
- Use safety devices during operation. (Eye protection, hearing protection and hand/feet protection).
