Job Full Description
The Auto Parts Specialist is responsible for managing, distributing, and selling automotive parts and equipment necessary for the repair and maintenance of vehicles. This role involves providing excellent customer service, maintaining inventory, and collaborating with service technicians to ensure the correct parts are available when needed.
Key Responsibilities:

Customer Service:
- Assist customers in finding the appropriate parts for their vehicles.
- Provide advice and guidance on the selection of parts and equipment.
- Handle customer complaints and issues efficiently and professionally.
- Process customer payments and handle cash registers.

Parts Knowledge:
- Study product catalogs and participate in educational opportunities to stay updated on automotive parts and accessories.
- Identify and source parts based on customer and technician needs.
- Ensure parts and equipment are stored and displayed properly, in accordance with safety regulations.

Automotive Experience:
- Collaborate with service technicians to identify necessary parts and equipment for repairs and maintenance.
- Understand the functions and applications of various automotive parts.
- Stay informed about the latest developments in the automotive industry.

Sales:
- Place orders for parts and equipment, ensuring that inventory is adequately stocked.
- Conduct regular inventory checks to maintain accurate records of parts and equipment.
- Monitor inventory levels and reorder parts as needed.
- Keep track of sales, orders, deliveries, and any possible shortages.
Qualifications:
- Experience working in an auto parts store or related automotive field.
- Strong customer service and sales skills.
- Familiarity with automotive systems and components.
- Ability to read and interpret parts catalogs and schematics.
- Basic computer skills for inventory management.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Skills:
