Join a growing company as a Financial Analyst, where you’ll play a crucial role in managing project budgets, financial reporting, and process optimization. This hands-on position offers the opportunity to work closely with leadership, including the Controller, CFO, and Plant Manager, to drive financial success and strategic growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor project budgets, track expenditures, and analyze financial performance
- Prepare and review financial reports, ensuring accuracy and alignment with company goals
- Collaborate with the Plant Manager to track costs and maintain budget integrity
- Provide mentorship to Accounts Payable staff and update the offsite Controller
- Research, recommend, and implement new financial processes and reporting systems
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
- Conduct variance analysis to compare actual vs. budgeted financial performance
- Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
- Monitor cash flow, working capital, and key financial metrics
- Ensure compliance with GAAP standards, financial regulations, and corporate SOPs
- Provide ad-hoc financial analysis for special projects and initiatives
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
- 5+ years of financial analysis experience, with some supervisory or mentoring responsibilities
- Strong skills in financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting
- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with finance and operations teams
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Expertise in GAAP regulations and financial best practices
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with NetSuite and Concur is a plus
