Position Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Development Coordinator/Business Developer to lead the development and execution of our fundraising initiatives. This position will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with donors, soliciting contributions, and securing funding to support the general operating budget and special projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fundraising, grant writing, donor management, and project coordination, with a passion for the mission of our organization.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive fundraising program to secure major gifts, grants, and donations from individuals, foundations, and corporations.
- Build and maintain strong donor relationships through cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship.
- Organize and manage donor files, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records for all fundraising activities.
- Draft and manage high-quality donor correspondence, including cultivation materials, direct mail solicitation letters, grant proposals, and acknowledgment letters.
- Develop and execute fundraising strategies to support the growth and sustainability of income streams.
- Prepare project budgets and track financial outcomes for fundraising activities, grants, and major gifts.
- Monitor and report on fundraising activities and outcomes, providing updates to the Executive Director and Board of Directors.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and ethical guidelines set forth by the Association of Fundraising Professionals.
- Promote the organization’s mission and activities through marketing and community engagement efforts.
- Conduct fundraising activities that comply with all relevant regulations, including HIPAA, ensuring the confidentiality of patient health information as the highest priority.
- Perform other duties as assigned by leadership.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in fundraising development and project management.
- Prior experience in a medical or healthcare environment is preferable.
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency with MS Office, web platforms, and social media.
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and confidentiality of patient health information.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to develop clear, compelling materials for donor communication and solicitation.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with diverse teams and community partners.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Work Schedule:
Full-time, Monday - Friday, with some flexibility required for events or donor engagement activities outside of standard hours.
