Do you have experience in clerical or administrative support roles? Have you previously worked in a production, inventory or warehouse setting?
Express Employment Professionals is assisting a local company in their search for a Production Assistant. The successful candidate for this role will be highly organized and detail-oriented and must be willing to collaborate and work in a team-oriented environment. This is a day shift, evaluation-to-hire opportunity with pay up to $20/hr.
Position Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
- Monitor inventory levels and utilize computer systems to manage and control inventory
- Maintain accurate records in inventory computer systems regarding part locations
- Utilize computer systems to ensure labels and markers on the production line match identification numbers in the system
- Work across teams/departments in order to minimize production downtime and ensure inventory remains appropriately stocked
- Other duties as assigned
Education/Experience/Skills:
- 2-5 years of experience in a clerical or administrative support role required
- 1+ year of experience in a production, inventory, or warehouse setting required
- Strong computer skills required
- High school diploma or GED
- Highly detail-oriented and organized
- Flexible and able to adapt to changing situations
- Ability to multitask and prioritize multiple projects at once
- Team-oriented with excellent written and verbal communication skills
Schedule/Pay:
- This is a day shift opportunity
- Pay up to $20/hr
