Express Employment Professionals is currently assisting a local company in their search for a Warehouse Associate. The successful candidate will be working with a great small business that places a strong emphasis on culture and teamwork. This position will require customer interaction and great customer service skills. This is a day shift, evaluation-to-hire opportunity with overtime available and pay up to $18/hr.
Position Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
- Receiving deliveries and unloading freight from trucks
- Preparing orders to be shipped out, including loading delivery trucks
- Stocking products and moving merchandise onto warehouse shelves, ensuring organization and cleanliness throughout the facility
- Greeting customers in-person and over the phone and assisting or answering questions as needed
- Processing orders and returns within computer systems
- Cutting conduit, wires, and other materials
- Other duties as assigned
Education/Experience/Skills:
- Must have previous experience operating a forklift
- Must be proficient with computers and Microsoft Suite
- Must be able to lift up to 50lbs
- Prioritizes the customer experience and focuses on providing great customer service
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Self-starter and highly motivated – must be able to work independently
Schedule/Pay:
- This is a 1st shift opportunity with potential overtime hours available
- Pay up to $18/hr
