Job Full Description
Express Employment is hiring multiple Accounting Clerks. These positions will be responsible for accounts receivables and accounts payables, recordkeeping, mail distribution, telephone operator/receptionist, and other office support services. Assist with other functions as needed. These positions are paying up to $25/hr depending on company and experience.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Calculate, post, and verify accurate information
- Maintain accounts receivable records
- Compute, organize, and record data to keep A/R records accurate
- QC entries, postings, and documents for correct entry, accuracy, and proper codes
- Balance the monthly bank statements and petty cash
- Comply with federal, state, and company policies, procedures, and regulations
- Post invoices in Microsoft Excel and other accounting programs
- Collect past due invoices
Requirements
- Associate degree or equivalent preferred but not required.
- 2-3 years administrative, office and accounts receivable/payable experience combination of education and experience acceptable
- Excellent Customer Service Experience required
- Working knowledge with Microsoft Word and Excel
- Good organizational and communication skills required
