CNC Machinist
Express Employment Professionals is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist - 2nd shift and weekend shift to join a local Omaha Company!
Position Details:
• Type: Evaluation Hire
• Schedule: Monday-Friday normal business hours
• Location: Omaha, NE
• Pay/Salary: up to $23/hour
Job Duties:
• Set up and operate all types of machine tools used in machining work
• Successfully program and operate computer numerically controlled lathes and mills
• Read blueprints and manufacture components to tolerances
• Make necessary mechanical repairs on any equipment in the plant
• Use precision measuring tools such as micrometers and calipers to ensure machining meets specifications
Requirements:
• High School diploma, technical certificate, or equivalent coursework or training in a related area
• 1-2 years experience in mechanical assembly is preferred
• A recognized apprenticeship may be required
• Strong analytical, communication, and computer skills.
• Understanding of mathematics
• Ethical behavior
• Attention to detail and self-motivation
