Shipping and Receiving
Express Employment Professionals is seeking a Shipping and Receiving associate to join a local company in North Omaha.
Position Details:
• Type: Evaluation Hire
• Schedule: 1st shift
• Location: Omaha, NE
• Pay/Salary: Up to $26/hr
Job Duties:
• Receive, inspect, and document incoming shipments to ensure accuracy and quality.
• Prepare, pack, and ship outgoing orders according to company standards and customer requirements.
• Maintain accurate records of all shipments and inventory transactions.
• Coordinate with vendors, carriers, and other departments to resolve shipping and receiving issues.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment safely to move materials.
• Keep the shipping and receiving area organized, clean, and compliant with safety regulations.
• Perform inventory counts and assist in reconciling discrepancies.
• Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in logistics or supply chain is a plus.
• Previous experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in using inventory management software and basic computer skills.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and team collaboration abilities.
