Production Floor Team Lead
Express Employment Professionals is seeking a Production Team Lead to join a local company in North Omaha.
Position Details:
• Type: Evaluation Hire
• Schedule: 1st shift
• Location: Omaha, NE
• Pay/Salary: $65,000
Job Duties:
• Executes the daily operational plan provided by the Operations Manager.
• Daily huddle with direct reports
• Tracks and reports daily production metrics.
• Communicates operational needs, challenges, and resource requirements to the Operations Manager.
• Oversee and assist with daily preventative maintenance (PM) tasks, supported by the team.
• Provides hands-on support across all production floor functions.
• Trains staff on equipment operations, safety protocols, and production processes.
• Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
• Previous experience as a team lead or upper level position required.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in production management software and tools.
• Excellent communication and team collaboration abilities.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies is a plus.
