Controller
Express Employment Professionals is seeking a Controller to join a counter company in Omaha, NE! The company we are recruiting for is looking for someone to be trained and move up to be a Chief Financial Officer!
Position Details:
• Type: Direct Hire
• Schedule: Day shift
• Location: Omaha, NE
• Pay/Salary: Starting around $180,000/year
Job Duties:
• Help oversee the operations of the Accounting Department, budget preparation, and audit functions.
• Work with external auditors and provide needed information for the annual audits.
• Establish and enforce robust financial policies and internal controls.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.
• Manage external audits and ensure timely completion.
• Oversee tax preparation and filing processes.
• Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or Finance.
• 3-5+ years of previous accounting for related experience.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite) and ERP systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
