Bookkeeper
Express Employment Professionals is seeking a Bookkeeper to join a local Omaha company in Omaha!
This is a customer facing role! You will be interacting with customers consistently, scheduling and taking orders! If you customer service and bookkeeping, this position will be perfect.
Position Details:
• Type: Evaluation Hire
• Schedule: 8am – 4pm
• Location: Omaha, NE
• Pay/Salary: $20/hr
Job Duties:
• Maintain and update financial records, including ledgers, invoices, and receipts.
• Reconcile bank accounts and other financial statements.
• Take customer orders accurately and making sure they get processed correctly.
• Schedule appointments according to working hours and making sure customers get correct appointment information.
• Process accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely and accurate payments.
• Prepare financial reports, summaries, and statements for management.
• Assist with payroll processing and tax filings as needed.
• Ensure subcontractors have correct insurance policies/certificates.
• Collaborate with accountants and other team members during audits and tax preparation.
• Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
• 1+ year of experience with QuickBooks required.
• 1+ year of bookkeeping or AR/AP experience required.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
