Mitigation Project Manager
Express Employment Professionals is seeking a Mitigation Project Manager to join a restoration company in Omaha, NE.
Position Details:
• Type: Evaluation Hire/Direct Hire
• Schedule: Day shift hours with some on call
• Location: Omaha, NE
• Pay/Salary: Up to $65,000/year
Job Duties:
• Ensure all mitigation plans and actions are in compliance with relevant regulations, codes, and environmental policies.
• Develop and implement training programs for staff, contractors, and stakeholders to increase awareness of mitigation measures and risk management strategies.
• Continuously monitor the effectiveness of mitigation strategies. Provide regular reports to senior management and external stakeholders on mitigation progress, challenges, and successes.
• Quickly respond with our team to water damage emergencies, including floods, leaks, and other water-related disasters
• Act as the lead during mitigation phases of crisis situations, ensuring proper response protocols are followed to minimize loss and harm.
• Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional certifications or training in water damage restoration preferred.
• 3+ years of previous experience in water damage restoration, including water extraction, drying, and mitigation techniques.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to perform effectively in high-pressure situations.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds regularly, work around cleaning agents, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces as needed.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
