Skilled Carpentry Worker
Express Employment Professionals is seeking some Skilled Carpentry Workers to join some construction companies in South Omaha!
Position Details:
• Type: Evaluation Hire
• Schedule: 7am – 5pm Monday - Friday
• Location: Omaha, NE
• Pay/Salary: Up to $25/hour
Job Duties:
• Accurately measure lumber and operate saws to make proper cuts.
• Work with a pneumatic nail gun to assemble frames.
• Band and move frames using a forklift.
• Proven experience as a carpenter or similar role.
• Proficient in using carpentry tools and equipment.
• Knowledge of blueprint reading and interpretation.
• Ability to perform precise measurements and calculations.
• Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship.
• Physical stamina to perform heavy lifting and manual labor.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
• Construction experience is heavily preferred.
• Must be able to read a tape measure accurately.
• Machine operating and production experience are also a plus.
• Must be able to lift 50-60lbs safely and regularly.
• Comfortable with switching stations around the warehouse.
• Forklift experience is a plus.
