Brake Press Operator
Express Employment Professionals is seeking a Brake Press Operator to join a metal manufacturer in South Omaha!
Position Details:
• Type: Evaluation Hire
• Schedule: Shifts vary
• Location: Omaha, NE
• Pay/Salary: $19+/hour
Job Duties:
• Set up, adjust, and operate brake press machines to perform bending, forming, and shaping of metal parts and components.
• Interpret and follow technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to ensure accurate production of parts.
• Inspect finished products for accuracy, dimensions, and quality. Make adjustments as needed to maintain high standards.
• Perform routine maintenance on brake press machines, including cleaning, lubricating, and replacing worn parts.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe work environment and prevent accidents.
• Maintain accurate records of production, including material usage, machine settings, and any issues encountered.
• Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational training or certification in machine operation is a plus.
• Previous experience operating brake press machines or similar machinery is preferred but not required.
• Proficiency in using measuring tools, understanding technical drawings, and basic mechanical skills.
• Strong attention to detail, ability to work independently and as part of a team, and a commitment to safety and quality.
