Mechanical Assembly Technician
Express Employment Professionals is seeking Mechanical Assembly Technician to join a metal manufacturing plant in South Omaha!
Position Details:

• Pay/Salary: $20/hour
Job Duties:
• Assemble mechanical components and systems according to blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
• Use hand tools, power tools, and precision instruments to complete assemblies.
• Conduct thorough inspections of assembled products to ensure they meet quality standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues that arise during the assembly process.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety guidelines and company procedures.
• Collaborate with engineering and quality control teams to ensure product functionality and performance.
• Document assembly processes and maintain accurate records of work performed.
• Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree in mechanical engineering or related field preferred.
• Proven experience in mechanical assembly or related role, with a strong understanding of mechanical systems.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints.
• Experience with hand tools, power tools, and precision measurement instruments.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
