Groundskeeper
Express Employment Professionals is seeking a Groundskeeper to join a living community in South Omaha!
Position Details:
• Type: Evaluation Hire
• Schedule: 7am – 4pm, Monday - Friday
• Location: Omaha, NE
• Pay/Salary: $17/hour
Job Duties:
• Maintain and care for lawns, gardens, and outdoor areas, including mowing, trimming, planting, and weeding.
• Perform routine maintenance on groundskeeping equipment and tools, ensuring they are in good working condition.
• Clean and maintain outdoor spaces, including removing debris, litter, and trash.
• Assist with seasonal landscaping tasks such as planting flowers, mulching, and snow removal.
• Monitor the health of plants and grass, applying fertilizers, pesticides, and herbicides as needed.
• Ensure that walkways, driveways, and parking areas are clear and safe for use.
• Report any maintenance or repair needs to the supervisor in a timely manner.
• Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols while performing tasks.
• Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in groundskeeping or landscaping is a plus.
• Ability to operate and maintain various groundskeeping equipment and tools.
• Basic knowledge of plant care, lawn maintenance, and landscaping practices.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality work.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good physical stamina and ability to perform manual labor in various weather conditions.
