Quality Assurance Technician
Express Employment Professionals is seeking a Quality Assurance Technician to join a metal manufacturer in Omaha.
Position Details:
• Type: Evaluation Hire
• Schedule: 1st shift, Monday - Friday
• Location: Omaha, NE
• Pay/Salary: Up to $26
Job Duties:
• Operating quality assurance equipment and methodology.
• Inspect parts to assure they meet quality standard and expectations of the customer.
• Ensure that quality capabilities meet or exceed all industry and customer requirements.
• Occasional operation of metal fabrication machinery, especially metal forming with hydraulic presses and welding equipment.
• Conduct quality measurements and complete customer documentation prior to series production and delivery to customers.
• Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
• A minimum of 1-2 years’ experience in a Quality Assurance position.
• Previous experience in manufacturing; metal fabrication.
• Ability to read blue prints and understand functionality of parts and their components.
• Ability to operate a forklift and obtain certification.
• Computer experience using MS Office Suite, 3D Modeling CAD software, etc.
