Job Full Description
Express Employment Professionals is currently interviewing for a Legal Administrator for a well-established Personal Injury Law Firm.
This is a full-time, direct hire opportunity for candidates with a strong background in legal management and personal injury law.
Salary: Starting at $70,000/year
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee Legal Assistants and support high-volume plaintiff personal injury case management.
- Manage pre-litigation settlement processes, including disbursing personal injury files, Med-Pay, and settlement breakdowns.
- Work closely with senior attorneys and staff to meet goals and objectives.
- Provide leadership, direction, and constructive feedback to team members across departments.
- Ensure adherence to law firm policies and procedures in a fast-paced environment.
- Assist with file management and departmental operations as needed.
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous management experience in a legal setting is required.
- Extensive knowledge of personal injury law and processes.
- Strong understanding of plaintiff case disbursements, settlement percentages, and Med-Pay procedures.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Bilingual candidates are a plus.
- Energetic, detail-oriented individuals with a strong work ethic and the ability to thrive under pressure.
- Longevity in previous roles and two professional references are required.
Schedule: Full-time, 8-hour shifts
Experience Requirements:
- Microsoft Office: 1 year (preferred)
- Legal case management: 3 years (required)
