This is a full-time, direct hire opportunity.
Steel Industry Sales Experience Required
Job Title: Steel Outside Sales Representative
Pay: Competitive, Based on Experience
Schedule: Full-Time (Specific hours TBD)
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and develop new sales opportunities within the steel and metal industry.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
- Provide technical information and product recommendations specific to steel and metal products.
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts to close sales deals.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including production and logistics, to ensure timely deliveries.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to optimize sales strategies.
- Meet and exceed sales targets and company objectives.
- Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and presentations for management.
- Attend industry trade shows, networking events, and customer meetings as required.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in steel and metal sales, industrial sales, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of steel and metal products, grades, and applications.
- Experience with selling custom steel and metal solutions.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
