Machine/Press Brake Operator
Location: Reno/Sparks, NV
Shift: Monday to Thursday, 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Salary: Starting at $20 per hour
Express Employment Professionals is currently hiring for a Machine/Press Brake Operator for a local Reno/Sparks company in the restaurant and medical manufacturing field. As a Machine/Press Brake Operator, you will be responsible for setting up and operating machines, managing machine operations, and ensuring that the production goals are met. Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate machines to produce parts according to specifications
- Collect all materials and equipment needed to begin the process
- Use hand and power tools to make necessary adjustments to machines
- Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure proper function
- Inspect parts for defects and ensure that they meet quality standards
- Work collaboratively with other staff to achieve production goals
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a machine operator, press brake operator, or similar role
- Ability to read blueprints and schematics, and understand technical drawings
- Proficient in using tools such as clamps, polishers, sanders, and press, shear, and brake press machines
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Good hand-eye coordination
