Job Full Description
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Window Glazer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in installing, repairing, and replacing glass in residential, commercial, and industrial buildings. Attention to detail and safety is essential to ensure high-quality service and customer satisfaction. Pay is from $22 to $26 DOE
Only Experience Candidates with 3+ years will be considered.
Responsibilities:

Install glass panels in window frames, doors, and other structures.

Measure and cut glass to fit specific dimensions and requirements.

Remove old or broken glass and prepare the area for new installations.

Apply sealing materials to secure the glass in place, ensuring proper insulation and protection.

Ensure all glass installations comply with safety regulations and building codes.

Perform repairs on broken, cracked, or damaged windows and glass.

Use hand and power tools, including glass cutters, suction cups, and glazing compounds.

Maintain clean and organized work areas, ensuring safety protocols are followed.

Communicate effectively with customers to discuss their needs and provide recommendations.

Inspect completed work for quality assurance before leaving the job site.
Qualifications:

Proven experience as a window glazer or in a similar role.

Ability to cut, fit, and install glass effectively and safely.

Familiarity with using hand tools, power tools, and glazing materials.

Strong attention to detail and high-quality standards.

Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Knowledge of local building codes and safety regulations.

Ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Physical ability to lift heavy glass panels and work at heights.
Preferred Skills:
-
Certification in glazing or related trade is a plus.

Experience with commercial and/or specialty glass installations.

Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
