Job Full Description
Our client in Old Bridge NJ is looking for a Machinist on a Direct hire basis.
Hours: Monday-Friday 6AM-2PM
Pay: $27-$29
Job Duties / Responsibilities
• Perform regular inspections and preventive maintenance on
shop equipment and machinery to ensure optimal performance and reduce downtime.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and
pneumatic systems on a variety of vehicles and machinery.
•Use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify issues and malfunctions in
mechanical systems.
• Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and company policies. Keep work
areas clean and free of hazards.
• Test equipment after repairs to ensure proper functionality before
returning it to service.
• Work closely with other mechanics, technicians, and shop team members
to complete tasks efficiently.
• Properly maintain and store tools, ensuring they are in good working
condition.
• Operate a forklift and manlift.
• Connect and disconnect a three-phase electric motor.
