REPORTS TO: Vice President/General Manager-No. America

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: BS/BE OR EQUIVALENT IN EXPERIENCE

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1.  Conduct performance evaluations and compensation reviews for all assigned staff.
  2. Estimate, develop and acquire those resources required to perform the necessary responsibilities of the department.
  3. Responsible for the coordination and prioritizing of the required tasks using the assigned resources of the departments. In the event outside resources are required, this person will coordinate with fellow managers/supervisors to solicit what resources are required to complete the required task.
  4.  Administer and enforce company policy.
  5. Insure cost effective and efficient use of all company resources.
  6. Insure proper accounting of labor and weekly time sheets.
  7. Responsible for departmental scheduling as deemed necessary by the company.
  8.  Responsible that all software documentation is an accurate reflection of the product.
  9. Responsible for assisting and providing technical support as required for other company departments.
  10. Supply various reports as required by the company.
  11. Insure adherence to ISO-9001 standards and procedures.

SOFTWARE ENGINEERING RESPONSIBILITES: 

  1. Develop and maintain effective software configuration and quality control standards and procedures.
  2. Directs software architecture development, top down design and real-time performance analysis, utilizing modern software design and implementation tools.
  3. 3. Prepare software development cost estimates.
  4. Manage software projects, consultants and subcontractors.
  5. Support marketing and interface with customers. 
  6. Provide technical support in the development and distribution of software and documentation.
  7. Performs other duties as required by the company.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: 

  1. MANAGEMENT AND TECHNICAL EXPERIENCE WITH SCADA/DCS SYSTEMS AND PRODUCTS IN THE AREAS OF SOFTWARE & PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT
  2. 3- 5 YEARS MANAGERIAL EXPERIENCE.
