Job Full Description
We are seeking a reliable and experienced CDL Class B Driver to join our team. The driver will be responsible for transporting goods and materials safely and efficiently while adhering to all traffic and company regulations. This role requires excellent driving skills, time management, and customer service abilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate CDL Class B commercial vehicles safely and efficiently.
- Transport goods, materials, or passengers as assigned.
- Load and unload cargo as needed, ensuring proper securing of loads.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
- Maintain accurate driving logs and documentation per DOT regulations.
- Follow all traffic laws, safety procedures, and company policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and team members.
- Ensure timely deliveries and pickups while maintaining customer satisfaction.
- Report any vehicle issues, accidents, or delays to management promptly.
- Keep the truck clean and well-maintained.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Valid CDL Class B License (with required endorsements if necessary).
- Clean driving record with minimal violations.
- Minimum 2+ years of commercial driving experience preferred.
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects if required for the job.
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety standards.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions.
- Must pass a DOT drug test and background check.
