Job Full Description
Setting up and operating machines
Set up, operate, and troubleshoot plastic injection molding machines. This includes ensuring machines are set to the correct parameters and meeting production goals.
Maintaining equipment
Perform maintenance on injection molding equipment and review and inspect machines daily for maintenance issues.
Ensuring product quality
Inspect parts to ensure they meet customer specifications and stop production to correct any quality issues.
Supporting production
Assist with injection molding setup, start up, tear down, and changeovers on equipment.
Training machine operators
Monitor, train, and coach the machine operators to ensure they are following proper procedures.
Communicating with others
Communicate technical decisions to Engineering, Production, and management.
Documenting
Document mold change and machine adjustments.
Performing other tasks
Read blueprints, update processing parameters, and perform moisture analysis on materials as needed.
