Job Full Description
Our client in Newark is in need of a Water/ Wastewater Engineer and Project Manager. The experience and qualifications are listed below:
• Strong attention to detail with analytical and judgment capabilities
• Able to work independently as well as in a team environment, and to effectively interact with the management team and contribute towards a common goal
• Able to perform tasks as directed as well as interact with clients in a professional and courteous manner
• At least seven (7) years’ experience in wastewater engineering, modeling, design, and construction management
• Proficient technical skills in municipal water and wastewater treatment, collection, and distribution systems. Design and management of projects involving wastewater treatment plant design, wastewater conveyance systems (gravity & force mains), pump station design.
• Able to prepare bid documents including final plans, specifications, and cost estimates
• Able to prepare environmental documentation for wastewater resources, regulatory program compliance, data management and analysis, and field work.
• Able to perform hydraulic modeling and pipeline design.
• Able to effectively read, interpret, implement & explain project documents
• Able to properly document daily activities, subcontractor manpower, scheduling, problem resolution, call logs, owner visits, change orders, etc. through electronic daily job reports
• Able to manage quality control and supervise multiple contractors and/or junior design and construction management staff on concurrent projects
