Our client is currently looking for a Quality Assurance Director. A Quality Assurance (QA) Director is a senior leadership role responsible for overseeing all aspects of a company's quality assurance and quality control functions, ensuring products and services meet established standards by developing and implementing quality control systems, managing QA teams, earning and maintaining GFSI certifications and driving continuous improvement across the organization, while adhering to industry regulations and internal guidelines; they are essentially responsible for defining and promoting a quality mindset throughout the company.

Key Responsibilities:
• Strategic Quality Planning:
Develop and execute a comprehensive quality strategy aligned with company goals, including setting quality standards, metrics, and performance targets.
• Team Leadership:
Manage and mentor a team of QA professionals across 5 locations in 2 states (NJ and UT), including analysts, testers, and managers, providing guidance and career development opportunities.
• Quality System Oversight:
Establish and maintain robust quality management systems (QMS) to monitor and control processes, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal standards.
• Process Improvement:
Identify areas for improvement within QA processes, implement continuous improvement initiatives, and leverage data analysis to drive quality enhancements. Establish and maintains QA protocols.
• Risk Management:
Conduct risk assessments to identify potential quality issues, develop mitigation plans, and proactively address quality risks throughout the product lifecycle.
• Compliance Assurance:
Ensure adherence to all relevant industry regulations and standards, including conducting audits and inspections to maintain compliance.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Work closely with cross-functional teams (development, operations, sales, etc.) to integrate quality considerations into product development and delivery processes.
• Reporting and Analysis:
Generate comprehensive quality reports, analyze data, and present key findings to senior management to inform decision-making.
• Incident Investigation:
Lead investigations into quality issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Training and Development:
Provide training and development opportunities for QA staff to ensure proficiency in quality methodologies and best practices.

• Knowledge of relevant industry regulations and standards
• Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
• Bi-lingual (Spanish/English)
• 25% domestic travel between NJ (Totowa & Kearny) and Ogden, UT
• Lead a team of 4-6 Quality Assurance people

This is a direct hire position with full company benefits.

$130k-$150K depending on experience with 20% bonus based on individual performance and company financials
