Express Employment of West Seneca has partnered with a logistics company in the West Seneca area to fill an immediate need for a full-time Medical Customer Service Representative.  This is your opportunity to get your foot in the door with a great company that values their employees!  The company offers its employees great benefits, such as:

 

Starting pay is $18+/hr.  Full time, 1st Shift, Monday – Friday

 

Responsibilities for the Customer Service role Position include:

  • Answers telephones in a timely and courteous manner and assists caller with their needs or refers to the appropriate party/department for assistance.
  • Responsible for taking and processing patient orders. Including entering all order/setup information. 
  • Responsible for reviewing orders and supporting documentation (ex. script, sleep studies, doctor notes) to ensure all required documentation is complete.
  • Perform insurance coverage verifications (by phone and web) and obtain insurance authorizations.
  • Contacts patient to: advise them of the order received on their behalf and to confirm all demographic and insurance information; to communicate financial responsibilities and/or additional information necessary to process the order; to schedule the patient for the delivery/setup of the equipment.
  • Maintains appropriate documentation related to order and conduct follow up for documentation as needed. Responsible for closing/confirming work orders and communicating any necessary information to the Billing Department.
  • Schedule patient visits/follow-ups when applicable.
  • Update Prescriber information as needed.
  • Resolves issues by identifying problems and coordinating appropriate solutions.
  • Maintain patient confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Complies with and adheres to all company policies and procedures.
  • Performs other related duties as directed by supervisor/management.
