Express Employment Professionals of Buffalo are currently seeking qualified applicants for a Material Handler position on the 1st shift.
Hours: 6:00am to 2:30pm, Monday - Friday
Pay rate: $18/hr
Temp to Hire position! This company manufactures small electrical outlets and enclosures in Cheektowaga. This is a great opportunity to start a career with an international company that has been in business for over 100 years!
Responsibilities will include:
- Wheeling barrels of material around the facility to refill various machines
- Maintaining material levels at machines; filling and refilling as needed throughout the day
- Sorting materials according to color
- Backup functions: packaging products between material handling duties; plant area maintenance
Qualifications:
- Must wear steel-toed boots
- Must be comfortable lifting up to 50lbs and walking throughout the day
- Excellent attention to detail
- Looking for someone who wants to learn and stay with the company for the long term
- Must have at least 2 years of production experience with solid work history
- Forklift experience preferred
