We are assisting a well-established, family-owned manufacturing facility in Westfield, PA, specializing in the production of electrical wiring harnesses. The company is seeking a highly skilled Plant Manager to oversee daily operations and ensure the efficient production of top-quality wiring harnesses.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee all daily plant operations, ensuring production targets, quality standards, and deadlines are met
  • Supervise and lead a team of production employees, fostering a positive, safe, and productive work environment
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize manufacturing processes, improve efficiency, and reduce waste
  • Monitor and ensure the timely procurement and flow of materials, components, and finished products
  • Manage staffing levels, schedules, and resources to meet production demands
  • Ensure strict compliance with safety protocols, industry regulations, and company policies
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to resolve technical issues related to electrical systems and production processes
  • Coordinate and schedule regular equipment maintenance to minimize downtime and ensure operational efficiency
  • Prepare and present performance reports, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions
  • Work closely with senior management to develop and implement long-term goals and strategies

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Technology, or a related field
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing environment, ideally in electrical wiring harnesses or related industries
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage, motivate, and develop a production team
  • In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, wiring harnesses, and manufacturing processes
  • Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and decision-making skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Knowledge of safety standards and compliance regulations in a manufacturing environment
