Job Title: Production Supervisor – Electrical Wiring Harness Manufacturing

Location: Westfield, PA
Schedule: Monday – Friday

We are assisting a family-owned manufacturing facility in Westfield, PA, specializing in the production of electrical wiring harnesses, in their search for an experienced Production Supervisor. This role is ideal for a motivated and detail-oriented leader who is committed to ensuring efficient production processes while maintaining high standards of quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and manage day-to-day production operations, ensuring efficiency, quality, and safety standards are met
  • Lead and motivate a team of production workers, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback
  • Monitor production schedules and adjust as needed to ensure timely completion of orders and optimal resource utilization
  • Oversee the implementation and adherence to safety protocols, ensuring a safe working environment
  • Troubleshoot production issues and collaborate with team members to resolve technical problems
  • Ensure quality control measures are in place and that products meet all specifications and standards
  • Maintain accurate records of production, including output, downtime, and any issues that arise
  • Collaborate with other departments such as maintenance, quality control, and logistics to ensure smooth operations
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and implement continuous improvement initiatives
  • Enforce company policies and procedures to maintain a productive and compliant work environment

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a manufacturing supervisory role, ideally in electrical wiring harness production or similar industries
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team
  • In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, wiring harnesses, and manufacturing processes
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance in a manufacturing environment
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and handle multiple priorities
