Job Title: HVAC/Plumbing Project Manager/Estimator

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated HVAC/Plumbing Project Manager/Estimator to join our team in Hammondsport, NY. This role is responsible for overseeing the planning, budgeting, and execution of HVAC and plumbing projects while ensuring quality workmanship, profitability, and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, estimating, and a deep understanding of HVAC and plumbing systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare accurate and competitive estimates for HVAC and plumbing projects, including labor, materials, and subcontractor costs.
- Manage multiple projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are on schedule, within budget, and meet quality standards.
- Collaborate with clients, engineers, vendors, and subcontractors to ensure project success.
- Review blueprints, specifications, and contracts to develop project scope and execution plans.
- Oversee procurement of materials and equipment needed for projects.
- Conduct site visits to assess job progress and troubleshoot potential issues.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal codes, safety regulations, and industry standards.
- Maintain strong communication with clients and stakeholders to provide updates and address concerns.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an HVAC/Plumbing Project Manager and/or Estimator.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC and plumbing systems, installation processes, and industry best practices.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and technical drawings.
- Proficiency in estimating software, project management tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
- OSHA certification or knowledge of safety protocols is a plus.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to job sites as needed
