Job Full Description
We are searching for a skilled Paralegal for a busy local law office. The Paralegal will assist with a broad spectrum of administrative tasks including preparation of contracts, legal documents, evidence preparation, and more. Duties may also include case organizing, analyzing, research, and writing. This role requires a highly analytical, detail-oriented, and experienced Paralegal candidate.
Duties:
- Assist attorneys in the day-to-day handling of cases from inception through trial
- Draft and revise documents
- Gather records, files, and written reports. Retain files and prepare legal documents.
- Conduct legal research
- Provide general support to attorneys
- Monitor deadlines while coordinating multiple calendars
- Communicate professionally with internal staff, clients, outside counsel, and court personnel
- Filing and other administrative tasks
- Use legal technology for case and document management.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of prior law firm experience required
- Bachelor's degree and/or paralegal certificate from an accredited program
- Ability to demonstrate a high degree of professionalism
- Superior attention to detail, organization, and multi-tasking skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
