Express Employment is currently hiring for a Route Delivery Driver in the Rochester area!

This position requires a CDL B LICENSE 

 

In this position you will operate a box truck to deliver cylinders and various products to customer locations. Responsible for loading and unloading the truck as needed and ensuring all duties are carried out in compliance with company policies and Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

 

• Truck Inspection and Maintenance:

  • Conduct daily pre-trip inspections as required by DOT regulations.
  • Complete hazardous materials paperwork.
  • Refuel the truck as necessary.
  • Perform post-trip inspections and document findings.

• Product Delivery:

  • Deliver products to various customer locations.
  • Obtain customer signatures for each delivery ticket.
  • Collect payments for cash-on-delivery (COD) accounts.
  • Retrieve empty cylinders and authorized return merchandise.

• Documentation and Reporting:

  • Accurately complete trip sheets after each stop, noting delivery times, products delivered, and items returned.
  • Upload handheld unit data to the computer system.
  • Return all merchandise, forms, and paperwork to the appropriate areas for processing and verification.

• End-of-Day Duties:

  • Unload the truck upon returning to the plant.
  • Secure and park the truck.
  • Submit paperwork to the Billing Department for review.
