Job Full Description
Express Employment Professionals is currently hiring for Food Production associates in the Rochester area!
This role involves working in a refrigerated environment to prepare, process, and package food products while ensuring food safety and quality standards are maintained. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in cold conditions and performing repetitive tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Operate food processing equipment safely and efficiently.

Prepare, assemble, and package food products according to specifications.

Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workspace at all times.

Follow all health, safety, and hygiene guidelines in compliance with company policies and food safety regulations (e.g., HACCP, GMP).

Inspect raw and finished products for quality and report any discrepancies to the supervisor.

Accurately complete production records and documentation.

Perform routine cleaning and sanitation of equipment and work areas.

Handle materials, supplies, and finished products in cold temperatures (typically between 32°F to 45°F / 0°C to 7°C).

Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily production targets.

Participate in ongoing training and development activities.
Qualifications:
-
Previous experience in food production or manufacturing is an asset but not required.

Ability to work in cold environments for extended periods.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Basic math and reading skills to follow recipes and production instructions.

Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to [insert weight, e.g., 30-50 lbs] for the duration of the shift.

Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team.

Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, or holidays as needed.

This is a DAY shift position, must be available to work a flexible schedule between the hours of 5am - 5pm
