Job Full Description
Express Employment is working with a local company looking to add an experienced Office Clerk to their administrative team!
The ideal candidate will assist in day-to-day office operations, ensure timely customer payments, and help maintain accurate financial records. Strong communication and follow-up skills are essential for success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:

Process and post incoming payments accurately and in a timely manner

Monitor customer accounts to identify outstanding balances

Initiate collection calls and emails to follow up on past-due invoices

Maintain records of collection activity and payment status

Prepare and send customer statements and invoices

Assist with account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
-
Provide general administrative support including filing, data entry, and answering phones

Support other office staff as needed
Requirements:
-
High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s degree in accounting or related field a plus)

1–2 years of experience in an office environment, preferably with accounts receivable or billing

Strong communication and customer service skills
-
Basic understanding of accounting principles and collections practices

Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); experience with accounting software a plus
-
High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines
This is an in-person position working Monday - Friday 7:30a - 4pm
Pay based on experience level starting at $20/hr
